Tuesday April 17th!

Standard

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

This morning they had Spanish.

When they returned they worked on their morning work (subtraction, tally marks, and graphing).

For sentence starters we wrote a letter to JijiĀ for his 15th birthday!

We did phonics focusing on the “oi” and “oy” sounds and spellings.

They are now at lunch.

When they return we will go to Jiji.

We will work on math.

They will go to recess and we will end the day with centers.

HW Baggy Book, practice math facts and spelling words.

*NO school Thursday!

About skvincent

I am so excited to be at Ogden teaching first grade. Our first week has been so great, and I am looking forward to working with them throughout the year. The first grade team will be working closely together to make sure we cover all of the important standards of first grade. This will help to make an easy and successful transition into second grade. This is my second year at Ogden, and I am thrilled to be a part of our incredible staff. I graduated from The University of California, Irvine, where I had the opportunity to teach in a first grade classroom. I am also currently working on my Masters of the Arts in Education. I love running on the lakefront and cooking healthy meals. I hope to incorporate this into the classroom as I was part of a program called Fit To Learn. This program taught the importance of teaching students about living a healthy lifestyle.
