My daughter is a brilliant and amazing little girl with a sense of humor and a lust for knowledge! She is a valuable part of our family and our community! She has a future that is unknown, yet VERY hopeful! We cannot predict the future for any child however, I can say for sure that if my daughter does not receive her frequent (11/wk) therapies or her 24/7 care and treatments she will never reach her full potential! If we are to lose the waiver program because of short-sighted and economically unsound political mismanagement many families will be unable to care for their profoundly complex children. These children are better in their parents care and will be more likely to reach their full potential and possibly find independence. Can you imagine having YOUR child in an institution or hospital just because politicians deem them costly or worse, disposable. We have asked these politicians to meet them so they can see who they are devastating but they will not. These children have no voice! PLEASE!!! help by signing and urging your friends and family to do so also. PLEASE!!!
This morning they had Spanish.
They are now working on Morning work with subtraction and money math word problems.
We will soon be talking about pronouns (there is a section on their test tomorrow about them).
We will be doing sentence starters then going to Lunch.
We will have Jiji after Lunch then we will do Student of the Week.
They will have 2nd recess and then we will finish the day with centers.
HW: Study for Imagine It test tomorrow!

This morning wr worked with money and subtraction problems.
We did sentence starters and then they went to Gym.
We worked on phonics with the “aw” sound spelled “aw”, “au”, “al”, “all”, “augh”, and “ough”.
They are now at lunch.
When they return they will go to library.
We will then do math and work with money and practice word problems.
They will go to 2nd recess.
We will end the day reading our new reading comprehension story The Little Engine That Could and a read aloud.
HW: Study spelling words and math facts. The Little Engine That Could Test will be Wednesday, Spelling Test Thursday
This morning we worked on money word problems and subtraction.
We then did a few Easter activities (made picture frames and bunny faces).
They took their spelling test and then did sentence starters.
We then did Adventure to Fitness and went to a castle!
They had lunch and are now in Art. When they return we will work on math “What’s My Rule?” problems.
They have 2nd recess then we will end the day watching a Brain Pop about commas and a read aloud!

We did sentence starters and phonics working on the “aw” sound spelled “ought” and “aught”
They went to Gym and we had a fire drill. They did a great job!
They had Lunch and now we are in Jiji.
We will be taking the reading comprehension test when we get back into the room.
They will go to 2nd recess and we will end the day with centers!
HW: Review Reading Test, baggy books, and study for Spelling Test!

They did sentence starters and then in phonics we reviewed the “aw” sounds and spellings. We read a Time For Kids, I read more from our Magic Tree House book, and they had 15 minutes of D.E.A.R. time.
They are at lunch and then will go to Music.
After Music we will work on math and then they will go to 2nd recess.
We will end the day finishing our Frog and Toad story (The Kite) and we will do Student of the Week.
HW: Read The Kite and answer the questions. Be sure to bring the book back tomorrow!

This Monday we worked on Leprechaun addition and ABC order.
We did sentence starters and then took the spelling test.
We went to My. Kilimanjaro with Adventure to Fitness.
I did a read aloud from a Magic Tree House Book.
They are setting up their leprechaun traps.
They will go to Lunch and then art.
When they come back the room will be destroyed and the leprechaun’s will have gotten away. We will work together to clean the room!
After Art we will do some St. Patrick’s Day activities and then watch the Talent Show at the end of the day!
